Kidney Research Since 1999

About Us

Our Mission

To inform kidney stones patients about their condition and empower them to take steps to prevent future stones from developing.
To continue to inform and provide pain relieving, and long term effective answers from those who suffer from kidney stones, gallstones, and other nephrology related conditions such as gout.

Our History

KidneyAtlas.org was founded as a not for profit website nearly 20 years ago by a passionate group of kidney researchers at various universities and clinical practices including University of Colorado School of Medicine. In 2015 the site was shifted from focusing on a nephrology research audience to helping educate the public and provide direct insights and a source for the latest breakthroughs.
